Capacitor batteries have always been good but they’ve gotten even better since the ‘Cap Battery Tiericide’ this past March. I’ve been messing around with some PvE fits and have come up with this Vagabond that is particularly nasty and depending on how much ISK you want to spend it can get even more ridiculous…

First up the ‘Standard’ fit, using mostly T2 modules:

We got out for another great roam the other day in the Vagabond Fleet! We wandered for awhile and got a number of ‘random’ kills before we eventually ran into a Sev3rance Zealot Fleet that was supported by some Guardians.

It was a good, albeit lopsided, fight that started with some fantastic separation and tackle work from our Command Destroyer and Interdictor pilots and then some quick thinking and good decision making from our FC. Hlaupa Hǫggva þjóta

Skirmishing is what FEIGN excels at and it’s only fitting that we went out for a roam the other day in one of the best skirmishing vessels in New Eden… the Vagabond.

We had a good run and racked up a number of solid kills, including some fun in HED-GP where we nabbed a Nidhoggur – not often you see a Carrier kill with 10 pilots in Sub-Capitals 🙂

 

Sounds like we’ll be heading out in the Vagabond fleet again and I’m stoked to get in on some of that action again!

I’ve been theorycrafting some fits to use for my foray into Null-Sec ratting and they are coming together fairly well I think…

The thought process towards the fittings needs to be quite different from a fitting I would use for running combat sites in High-Sec as the threat of a PvP engagement is obviously much higher out in Null-Sec. I’ve come up with three different fits and each will do the job just fine, the decision of which ship to use will come down to the current intel situation of the systems I’m around and what kind of sites I’m wanting to run.

I’m currently training towards Minmatar Cruiser V and with that in mind I’ve been looking at all T2 Cruiser hulls seeing what looks interesting to fly. These are the six Minmatar T2 Cruiser hulls:

I’ll be able to get into five of those six right after training up Minmatar Cruiser V. The Scimitar will take awhile longer, I’m not sure my Signature Analysis and/or Long Range Targeting skills are quite up to snuff for it. To field the Rapier as I’d like to fly her, as a Black-Ops Scout, will also take some extra training but in the meantime I will be able to fit her out for small shield gang fleets which should be a ton of fun. The Vagabond, Broadsword and Huginn excite me and I’m looking forward to sitting in them.

Of the five I can get into quickly the only one that doesn’t excite me much is the Muninn – I’ve not seen much on the hull in any of the blogs or forums I’ve read and I can’t honestly remember seeing one in game at any point. Does anyone out there fly one? How do you fit it out? What do you use it for?
