July 14th, 2015 and the headline for New Eden is:
The Aegis Sovereignty Release Has Been Successfully Deployed!
Aegis Sovereignty is introducing a completely new sovereignty capture system for nullsec space paired together with improved nullsec infrastructure upgrades and better PVE opportunities and I think it’s going to create a rush of activity for the next few weeks as Alliances, old and new, make a push to keep their current SOV, capture new SOV or those groups that will be out to just plain ol’ mess with peoples SOV.
It’s going to be a fun time to be a Capsuleer in New Eden, specifically in nullsec and I’m stoked to be in the midst of it!
There are already a couple of resources out there to help with Aegis Sov.
- timerboard.net is tracking all sov timers live, no F5ing required, with sorting and filtering features.
- and Dotlan is now showing the time needed to capture structures, the defense multiplier and Capture Windows.
Unfortunately on this first day of Aegis Sovereignty I am working a dual shift so will have very limited time to log in and play, but no worries as I think there will be lots of activity for the next few weeks and I’m looking forward to it!
