[.FRAG] Leadership brought some options to the table and a vote was taken and it is now official… we’ve joined the Unspoken Alliance. [QUIET]Unspoken Alliance. [QUIET]

It has only been a couple days and we’re still getting ourselves situated but we’ll be heading to Etherium Reach to fill in the ranks and embrace some Drones. We’ll need to get some clones set up, doctrine ships bought or brought in and some other assets moved but that’s all just logistics and can be sorted easily enough.

What is most important at the end of the day is that the crew are happy and enthusiastic with the change and we are all excited to see where this new adventure in New Eden takes us.

SOV comes and SOV goes… such seems to be life in New Eden as a member of a small to mid-sized Alliance and being a line member means not being in the know about all the happenings, politics and relationships that are going on but what it does mean is a bit of a scramble to exit areas and move assets out of Systems that were likely going to be lost (did get lost) and then trying to settle into a new staging area while ‘things’ get sorted by Leadership.

I’ll just have to keep on saying it and make it a mantra ~ let’s see how and where things go now?

At least it’s a continued excitement!

I’m beginning to feel somewhat settled in the new ‘home’ system and am carefully getting some foundations laid down in the area. Got some PI up and running, got a few more ships and some other assets in place which makes getting out for some ratting, defense fleets and bashes a little easier. We’ve still got a long ways to go in terms of getting a market set up but things are definitely rolling along.

AFK Cloaking, Cloaky Campers, Ghost Campers – They are a presence in New Eden, especially in SOV-Null, and there is no true counter – I’m not going to complain or rant about the mechanics or fairness of Cloaky Camping – it is what it is and anyone willing to put in the time to get the skills necessary can do it.

We’ve currently got a Cloaky Camper in one of our Systems and it’s most definitely a form of psychological warfare as he’s assuredly curtailing some of our industry and PvE activities in that System but he can only watch one system at a time so we just move our operations to where he isn’t and then when/if he decides to move he has the chance of being seen and the possibility of being caught. As one of my FRAG mates pointed out – one Cloaky Camper can not stop an entire Alliance from doing their thing and whomever that Camper belongs to is actually paying with game time to have him just sit there, he’s not actively making ISK with the Camper.

It’ll be just a matter of time before the Camper gets caught moving between systems, or gets bored, or moves on to ‘greener pastures’ as we’re not giving him any content. In the meantime we wait it out…
