Well… it’s been awhile since I’ve last posted – no good excuses to give – thing are rolling along, pretty settled in the new home, been logging in and playing pretty much daily (there is always lots of content to take part in with the FEIGN crew), my skills are progressing nicely and truthfully that’s about it.

Maybe that’s not all, as a new Carrier pilot – I’m eagerly awaiting the April 27th release of EVE: Citadel and I’m definitely finding that some patience is necessary as we wait for the details of how the Capitals are being reformed. I’ve worked out all my basic skills to fly a Carrier but really need to see what direction they are going before committing to much further training.

Hopefully Fanfest will bring some news!

Moving weekend is here and it’s looking like setting up the computer at the parent’s place may not work so it’s likely that I’ll be off for at minimum a couple of weeks. I’m crossing fingers that we’ll be able to move into our new place early!

So since there won’t be much to write about for the next couple of weeks I’ll just leave you with a couple of pictures my pup Tinkerbelle!!!

We adopted her from the Humane Society. This is her at around three to four months old back in early December, she’s a Kelpie/Heeler cross.

Tink Puppy

I get out for runs and adventures quite often and once she’s grown Tink will be my running buddy. Last weekend I took her up on the Kludahk Trail for her first snowy adventure and she was brilliant.

I don’t think you are ever truly settled in New Eden’s Null-Sec space. I’d liken living in Null-Sec to an ongoing military deployment where you have a set out Area of Responsibility (AOR) and within that a main Area of Operation (AO) and some nearby Areas of Influence and Areas of Interest where you run your reconnaissance and/or intelligence gathering operations.

Battlespace

Currently I’d say we’re in the setting up our AO phase of deployment. We’re getting our logistics sorted, assets in place and pilots organized for future operations. It takes a bit to get all this stuff in order and I help as much as I can but really I’m pretty limited in my helpfulness – my main way to help for this move has been with cynos… I’ve been lighting cynos all over the place!

Here’s to getting ‘settled’ again and to getting the operations rolling in earnest!

I’m beginning to feel somewhat settled in the new ‘home’ system and am carefully getting some foundations laid down in the area. Got some PI up and running, got a few more ships and some other assets in place which makes getting out for some ratting, defense fleets and bashes a little easier. We’ve still got a long ways to go in terms of getting a market set up but things are definitely rolling along.

Well I’m slowly getting myself established. Made a number of runs over the past couple of days from our staging System to the new home. I’ve been taking advantage of our Jump Bridges and running stuff gate by gate. The gate by gate runs can be a little unnerving as you just never know who you might run into but I’ve been really lucky so far and haven’t bumped into any bad guys.

I’ve still got a number of larger assets to get out, which will help with truly getting rooted, but for those I need the help of our JF crew so will just have to have some patience and wait it out – I’ve got them set up on Courier Contracts so they will get moved at some point.

The next step for us on a Corporation/Alliance level will be to stock our Market as it’s currently abysmal and some of the folk are trying to take advantage of that by really cranking up their prices. I’m all for making some ISK but a 400% mark-up above Jita price is just terrible!

At the moment I’m not a fully capable contributor to our Alliance as I’ve not got my ratting or industrial assets brought out yet so am unable to take part in any of our indices building operations. It’s likely going to take another week or so before I will have all the assets I want/need in our new AOE. With out a Jump Freighter of my own I’m relying on our Corp JF crew to move the bulky things for me and don’t want to put any pressure on them as they are definitely pretty crushed right now with all the logistics stuff, their own and for many of the Corp that are ‘AFK’ due to RL stuff.

It’s not a big deal as there is always something to do, we’re in a fairly active area, we’ve got randoms passing through and small Fleets looking for targets and this spot is new to me so there are lots of fresh Systems of New Eden for me to explore.

I am looking forward to getting ‘settled’ once again but in the mean time I’ll keep myself busy!

Moving sucks!

I am super thankful for our JF pilots right now… even after moving a bunch of stuff via gate I still had a metric crap ton of assets to pull out of our old home and without the JF crew it would have been near impossible to get it all moved in a timely manner.

Kind of in a transition at the moment as I’m not sure where ‘home’ is yet but hopefully within the next week or so I can get settled and get back into some ISK making activities and get the Clusterfuck Roams rolling again.

Sváss Drykkr II

The period of Aegis Sovereignty is heading into it’s second week and we, The CORVOS, have managed to capture a small sliver of Null-Sec to call home… we’ll have to see how things go moving forward but here’s to hoping we can hold onto and defend our space well!

After some logistical help I’ve been able to get a few ships transported out to our new location, which I’m hesitant to call a MOB (Main Operating Base) but instead will refer to as our FOS (Forward Operating Site) until we get a solid foothold in the area.

It was late by the time I had everything in system but I dove headfirst into my first foray of Null-Sec ratting and ran a couple of Rally Points to test the waters of my Null-Sec ratting ship and help build our Military Index up a bit. Things went smoothly and I’ll likely get back into it tonight and maybe even jump into a Port or Hub if any are available.

Here’s to a place to call “Home”!
