I guess one of our fellas missed the Wardec notification and took a nasty loss that will likely have The Marmite Collective interested in extending the war a week or two.

An extra long war will suck but it will mainly hit our supply/logistics crew who will have to modify their operations to keep our staging area supplied which could mean some disruption to our general line members if ships, ammo, etc… aren’t getting brought in on the regular. But it’s usually not a huge deal, the crew somehow seem to keep the supply line running efficiently.

What will we do while under the Wardec and staying away from High-Sec space? Honestly keeping busy is not often an issue for us, there is almost always a few fellas out looking for trouble for the Alliance, there are numerous Alliance operations run every week, in .FRAG we run some Corporation operations to keep our things running, you can do some PI, there are ADMs to keep up so ratting and mining are always a welcome activity and of course you can go off solo and look for some content too.

For those times when Alliance/Corp activities are slow I’ve been thinking about getting back into some drag bubble camping and have been exploring the idea of using a cloaky Force Recon Ship for the job – something like the Rapier below would be a nice boat to engage pretty much any hull Destroyer down and a number of the Cruiser sized hulls.

With the cloak you should be able to pick your fights well by just staying hidden for any engagements that you don’t want to take. She has no scram but the long point and double webs should hold down your target solidly and give you the ability to dictate your engagement range. She is not cap stable so pulsing the MWD and some deft piloting will be key to keeping your distance. If you are a particularly good pilot or simply ‘space rich’ you could bling out the webs and disruptor which would extend your point range to 30km and your webs out to 60km, that would give you a little buffer for keeping range.

I’m neither a particularly good pilot or ‘space rich’ so will stick with the T2 modules and see how it goes 🙂

A couple of years back the United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) officially aligned themselves with the Marine Raiders of World War II. “Edson’s” Raiders of 1st Marine Raiders Battalion and “Carlson’s” Raiders of 2nd Marine Raiders Battalion are said to be the first United States special operations forces to form and see combat.

In FEIGN we’ve got some incredibly competent FC’s and the majority of our line members are all experienced and proficient PvP pilots. The .FRAG crew is still fairly new to the scene and flying with these more skilled pilots can get a little intimidating at times as they all know each other and mesh very well but I’m slowly getting the courage built up to take on the FC role again.

Traditionally FEIGN stays far away from cheap T1 Cruiser Fleets so I’m thinking of going with an ‘Edson’s Raiders’ Fleet Doctrine – fast and light with a punch – something like this Claw below can kick out 230+dps (270+ heated) with faction ammo, 260+ (300+ heated) with Hail and Rage and would fit in well with our guerrilla warfare style of play.

I started this blog on October 16th, 2014 so have been at it for just over one year. Have not been as active through the holiday season but that’s just how it goes…

It looks like January could be a pretty busy month as well as we need to find a new home for February 1st. It’s nothing bad our current landlords want to move some family into the suite we’re in and we’re more than happy to oblige, they’ve been awesome to us. Just a little inconvenience as the timing is not ideal.

We’ll see how this effects my time in New Eden. Feign Disorder is an active alliance and there is pretty much some kind of operation happening anytime of the day and lately I’ve not been able to join in on many and am having some serious FOMO!

Happy New Year!

RL has been busy for the past week or so but things have settled now in RL and in New Eden, pretty much moved into the new AO. Chaos and entropy is the mission for the next while – the goal is to find fights, provoke fights, poke, peel, roam, twist… do whatever is necessary to get and create some content for my Corp and Alliance mates!

Another stretch of quietude while things were afoot… stuff with Nerfed Alliance Go Away, in their current situation, just didn’t quite fit for us anymore so during a little cooling down period we tried to quietly move all our assets out to safer space then we left NAGA. and headed over to hook up with some mates in Feign Disorder.

Looking forward to getting out on some roams and fleets with the crew!

Sorry for the quietude… things are afoot and there are, again, changes taking place with our Alliance level of ‘organization’ and I’m, again, not entirely sure how this will all play out. Hopefully stuff should get resolved in the next day or so and then we’ll see how things look and what I can write about it.

Regardless of how things go on an Alliance level I’m in with my RL brother and the .FRAG crew for the long haul – I’ve been super fortunate to be welcomed into .FRAG and to meet these pilots they’re a solid, respectful, tight knit group who’ve got each others backs and truly enjoy playing EVE with one another – much fun is had with this crew, even when we’re getting wreck’d!

I will preface this post by stating clearly that I am not the ‘official’ Recruiter for Fractured Glory… but I’m not sure we actually have one either… Fifth and Arguil do most of our recruitment, usually by convo’ing pilots they’ve engaged in PvP fights that seem cool. So how do we go about getting bigger, how do we find solid, compatible, respectful, competent, fun, quality pilots to join our Corp/Alliance – I don’t know???

I browsed through some of the recruitment ads on the Alliance & Corporation Recruitment Center but can’t really see us going that route to recruit pilots – we’d just be one of the many small fishies in that big pool. I’d be very interested to see stats on conversion between a Recruitment Ad and actual numbers of pilots applying to the Corp from that Ad.

[23:26:41] Bhalu > You guys dont even have a kb ur that fail
[23:26:55] GX307 > we’re using yours check the losses side

.FRAG is a small Corporation but we have a good, close-knit, core group of active pilots that enjoy all aspects of EVE; missions in High-Sec for LP, Industry, PvP, PvE, etc… (well except for maybe Low-Sec PvP and High-Sec WarDec stuff – we tend to stay away from those). We’ve got some very experienced FC’s who are patient with newbies, willing to teach and again – active.

We’re welcoming to newer capsuleers or bitter vets.

We’re based mainly out of our newly acquired SOV Null system that is in the process of being fully upgraded.

We like to have fun and as long as you are not a rude douchebag, especially in a deliberate way, then you’d likely fit right in.

As far as requirements go I’m not really sure we’ve got any other than maybe the ability to use TeamSpeak 3 which we use for all our Fleet Ops and Leadership may or may not ask for an API for the obligatory background check?

We don’t have an in game Recruitment Channel but if you’re interested in joining .FRAG rip me a message in game and I can make some introductions or contact Fifth or Arguil directly and we can see if we’re a fit.
