Inn Hrafns

In Norse mythology, Huginn and Muninn are a pair of ravens that fly all over the world and bring information to the god Odin ~ In New Eden, Huginn and Muninn are T2 Cruiser Hulls of very different styling.

The Huginn is the Minmatar Combat Recon Ship so of the two and if it’s actually used in a reconnaissance role does tie in well with its Norse mythologically inspired name. It has the following ship bonuses:

Minmatar Cruiser bonuses (per skill level):
• 5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire
• 10% bonus to Target Painter effectiveness
Recon Ships bonuses (per skill level):
• 60% bonus to Stasis Webifier optimal range
• 5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret damage
Role Bonus:
• Cannot be detected by directional scanners

Conversely the Muninn is a Minmatar Heavy Assault Cruiser which really only keeps the naming as anything in common with the mythological Muninn. New Eden’s Muninn has the following ship bonuses:

Minmatar Cruiser bonuses (per skill level):
• 5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire
• 5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret damage
Heavy Assault Cruisers bonuses (per skill level):
• 10% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret optimal range
• 7.5% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret tracking speed
Role Bonus:
• 50% reduction in Microwarpdrive signature radius penalty

I’m right around a week away from getting into the pilot seat of both and am getting stoked on buying and fitting out some new ships. Still on the look out for some Muninn fits, there doesn’t seem to be many out there?
