I’ve messed around with Planetary Interaction a little bit in the last couple of months and have made some ISK with it. PI is a fairly simple way to make a decent passive income. But I’m looking to make a little more so I recently tore down my Colonies that were set up to produce Synthetic Synapses and am going to partner with my RL brother and build some Colonies and get to producing Robotics which seem to be a more profitable product overall.

PI takes some research and I recently found http://util.eveuniversity.org/PiBear/ which made my research for a Robotics set-up a little easier!

The Robotics chain looks like this:

Robotics

Robotics is attainable in a system near our home base and I’ve taken on building four of the Colonies we need for the chain.

Three of my four Colonies are Mining Complexes pulling the raw (R0)Resources with Extractors then routing through Launchpads into Processors and producing three of the (P1)Tier 1 Products we need.

My three mining complex planets:

Barren extracting (R0)Noble Metals to produce (P1)Precious Metals
Barren extracting (R0)Base Metals to produce (P1)Reactive Metals
Lava extracting (R0)Heavy Metals to produce (P1)Toxic Metals

My fourth planet in our Robotics chain is a Factory Complex built specifically to turn two of my (P1)Tier 1 Products into one of the (P2)Tier 2 Products we need for Robotics. It makes things a little easier as I’ve already got the Precious Metals and Reactive Metals in hand so with just a little transporting I’ve got the (P1) products transferred onto the planet and into the Advanced Processors producing our (P2)Mechanical Parts.

I leave all of my Products in a nearby station and then the brother takes over and is looking after the other parts of our Robotics chain.

I do have a fifth Mining Complex planet set up, this one is specifically set up to contribute to the Alliance PI chain.
